This is a sequence from the greatest ever show for pre-school Welsh stoners – Y Gelli on S4C.
While some programmes may be happy to teach kids about colours and numbers and mundane stuff; Y Gelli sets its sights a bit higher.
This three-minute epic seems to cover the entire history of the world – from odd things crawling out of swamps, to the birth of human consciousness, to global conflict and, finally; to a vision for the future – a Pot Noodle inspired world harmony.
No need for school or education – this is all that needs to be said.

The series is actually adadpted from a Japanese series, licenced to Cwmni Da from NHK, and re-versioned for S4C. The song is an adaptation of an English translation with a totally different tune to the original, composed and performed by Gafyn Lloyd.

There are some great brain-training puzzles which we have found are sometimes easier for children to answer than adults!
